CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Represent Global Interactive Logistics (GIL) in a professional manner to our customers, vendors and general public completing and coordinating all office functions in regard to customer service, daily workflow and quality of work with the warehouse operations department.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be the primary conduit of communication between the company and its client base
• Understand the overall business and maintain accurate client related business records
• Proactive, professional and timely communication to all client inquiries and requests
• Own the relationship and act as liaison between GIL clients and GIL operations
• Input, edit or revise client orders into Warehouse Management System
• Ability to create and maintain daily operational reports and distribute to clients as needed
• Ensure clients are receiving accurate and timely invoices
• Be a team player and assist all GIL associates in their duties as needed
• Create and maintain all files in an accurate and timely manner
• Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Ability to maintain multiple tasks in an organized manner
• Proficient knowledge and experience with use of MS Outlook, Word & Excel
• Must have professional and effective communication skills in the English language
• Must be able to perform basic math skills
• Quick learner and self-starter attitude
